As a result of research, scientists found that daily climbing stairs (provided that you ignore the elevator altogether) help significantly reduce body fat and strengthen muscles without any additional loads and diets.
Specialists from Geneva conducted an experiment with 77 of their colleagues, who used only the stairs for three months.
The results showed: in the subjects, the lung volume increased on average by 8.6%, the waist volume decreased by 2%, the weight and volume of body fat also fell by 2%, blood pressure by 2.3%, and level by 3.9% cholesterol.
